Here you will find examples of documents required by the German Embassy for Schengen Visa applications.
As part of the visa application, the German embassy requires the following documents of minors applying for a visa:
COURT ORDER (In German or English, if biological parents are divorced)
COURT ORDER (In German or English, to appoint a legal guardian)
PROOF OF FINANCIAL STATUS AND SUFFICIENT FUNDS:
Biological Parents: Proof of financial status and sufficient funds (at least 45 euros per person per day: 1 euro = +/- R20). Personal bank statement with money movements of the past three months (in particular showing regular monthly income. If the bank statement does not reflect 45 euros per day, proof of investment/saving account with at least the required funds must be included.
